Elite Bakki Shower Trickle Filter 60cm Width 2 Tier, get awesome filtration without the high cost of other bakki showers. This handmade design has been fully optimised for performance with the spray bar pre drilled so that you will get a good spread of water covering a lot of media. The two tiers come with 12mm mesh bottoms for extra strength, helping to create maximum performance, far superior than just drilled holes.

Each tier is oversized for extra airflow and comes with a pre-formed weir tier. All joints are hand welded for that extra strength. A long time of testing has gone in to these showers perfecting there biological filtration potential.

The bakki shower attempts to simulate natures way of filtering water. Similar to a mountain stream where water cascades over rocks, essentially filtering the water. In the case of the Bakki shower, media is placed in trays and the water pumped to the top of the filter and trickles through the media, eventually flowing back to the pond.

This gives excellent biological filtration and superior aeration.

We do not provide any media with the shower (allows us to keep postage down) you can use any shower media you like alfagrog, pumice, ceramic etc.

The shower is delivered fully built!

The price is for a 2 tier bakki shower filter with a weir return and a shower bar, Shower bar is 1.5” pipe and will come with standard layout holes drilled.(you can drill more if required)

Please note that the welds are hand made so there may be differences between weld look, this is not a flaw and is a result from the handmade build. The weir sides also tilt slightly to help with stability.

What media do I need (and how much)?

We make it simple: we sell our media in pre-measured "Tier Packs". One pack fills one tray perfectly.

  • For a 2-Tier Shower: Add 2 packs to your basket.
  • For a 3-Tier Shower: Add 3 packs to your basket.

Which media is best?

  • 🥇 The Gold Standard: Far Infrared Bacteria Home
    This is the ultimate media for our showers. It is lightweight, incredibly porous, and offers massive surface area for bacteria. If you want maximum growth and glass-clear water, this is the "best of the best."
  • 💰 The Budget Choice: Alfagrog
    A solid, reliable alternative. It is heavier than Bacteria Home, but it offers great biological filtration at a lower price point.

Whats the max flow rate?

We recommend a variable pump running at 10,000 - 15,000 LPH max on our showers you can then adjust speed to suit head height etc. Our showers work well from any flow above 3500lph.

How long is dispatch?

Due to high demand, our current manufacturing lead time is 7–10 working days before dispatch. We refuse to rush the welding process to ensure every unit meets our strict quality standards.

A Note on Tracking:
Once your unit is ready, you will receive a dispatch email. Please note that DPD tracking may not update immediately. It often takes 24–48 hours for the parcel to be collected from our Isle of Wight workshop and scanned at the mainland depot. Please be patient—if you have the email, it is on its way!

Can I order a custom size or specification?

Yes! Because we build everything in-house, we can modify the design to fit your specific setup.

Common Customizations:

  • Size: We can build custom widths up to a maximum of 120cm.
  • Inlets: We can upgrade the standard 1.5" inlet to 2" or 3".
  • Outlets: We can swap the standard weir for a piped outlet or fabricate a custom-length weir to match your waterfall width or length.
