Elite Bakki Shower Trickle Filter 90cm Width Pond Filter | Premium 3-Tier Trickle Filter

Achieve crystal-clear water and exceptional biological filtration with the Elite 90cm Bakki Shower Pond Filter. Designed for koi keepers who demand maximum performance without the premium price tag, this handmade, fully optimized 3-tier trickle filter simulates nature’s own purification process to keep your aquatic ecosystem thriving.

Key Features for Maximum Pond Performance

  • Optimized Water Distribution: Includes a pre-drilled 1.5” spray bar designed to deliver a perfectly even spread of water across a high volume of filter media. (Additional holes can be drilled to suit custom flow requirements).

  • Reinforced 12mm Mesh Bottoms: Unlike standard Bakki showers with simply drilled holes, our tiers feature heavy-duty 12mm mesh bottoms. This provides superior structural strength, drastically improves water cascade, and prevents media blockage.

  • Oversized Tiers for Maximum Airflow: Each of the three tiers is oversized to maximize oxygen exchange, leading to rapid off-gassing and highly efficient biological filtration.

  • Heavy-Duty Hand-Welded Construction: Every joint is hand-welded for exceptional durability and strength. (Note: As a handmade product, slight visual variations in the welds are normal and serve as a testament to its robust, non-mass-produced build).

  • Pre-Formed Weir Return: The tailored weir features slightly tilted sides for enhanced stability, ensuring a smooth, cascading return flow back into your pond.

  • Plug-and-Play Delivery: Arrives fully built and ready to install immediately out of the box.

How the Bakki Shower Works This 90cm bakki shower pond filter replicates the natural filtration of a mountain stream. As your pond pump pushes water to the top spray bar, the water aggressively cascades down through the three tiers of media. This crashing action essentially smashes the water droplets, saturating them with oxygen and providing the perfect, highly aerated environment for beneficial bacteria to thrive and consume harmful ammonia and nitrites.

Frequently Asked Questions

What media do I need (and how much)?

We make it simple: we sell our media in pre-measured "Tier Packs". One pack fills one tray perfectly.

  • For a 2-Tier Shower: Add 2 packs to your basket.
  • For a 3-Tier Shower: Add 3 packs to your basket.

Which media is best?

  • 🥇 The Gold Standard: Far Infrared Bacteria Home
This is the ultimate media for our showers. It is lightweight, incredibly porous, and offers massive surface area for bacteria. If you want maximum growth and glass-clear water, this is the "best of the best."
  • 💰 The Budget Choice: Alfagrog
A solid, reliable alternative. It is heavier than Bacteria Home, but it offers great biological filtration at a lower price point.

Whats the max flow rate?

We recommend a variable pump running at 10,000 - 15,000 LPH max on our showers you can then adjust speed to suit head height etc. Our showers work well from any flow above 3500lph.

How long is dispatch?

Due to high demand, our current manufacturing lead time is 7–10 working days before dispatch. We refuse to rush the welding process to ensure every unit meets our strict quality standards.

A Note on Tracking:
Once your unit is ready, you will receive a dispatch email. Please note that DPD tracking may not update immediately. It often takes 24–48 hours for the parcel to be collected from our Isle of Wight workshop and scanned at the mainland depot. Please be patient—if you have the email, it is on its way!

Can I order a custom size or specification?

Yes! Because we build everything in-house, we can modify the design to fit your specific setup.

Common Customizations:

  • Size: We can build custom widths up to a maximum of 120cm.
  • Inlets: We can upgrade the standard 1.5" inlet to 2" or 3".
  • Outlets: We can swap the standard weir for a piped outlet or fabricate a custom-length weir to match your waterfall width or length.
